Oak Brook Terrace, IL - The CompTIA Educational Foundation in Oak Brook Terrace, Illinois, is pleased to announce that they have selected Mr. Charles Eaton as their Executive Director. Mr. Eaton will be responsible for providing vision and direction to this dynamic, rapidly changing and growing enterprise.

Mr. Eaton was most recently the Vice President, Business Development at the Association for Professionals in Infection Control in Washington, DC, a position he held since 2007. Prior to joining the Association for Professionals in Infection Control, Mr. Eaton held several positions at the Consumer Electronics Association, last of which was the Vice President, Member Relations. He has also held leadership positions in the Potomac Chapter of Meeting Professionals International and has been an active member of the American Society of Association Executives and Association of Fundraising Professionals.

Mr. Eaton held progressively more responsible positions at the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals and ended his tenure as the Deputy Director. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University.

Mr. Eaton begins his duties on April 15, 2010, at CompTIA’s Washington, DC office.
