Evanston, IL - The Housing Options for the Mentally Ill has selected Ms. Laura Sabino as their new Executive Director. Ms. Sabino is currently the Executive Director of Porchlight Counseling Services, Evanston, Illinois, a position she has held since 2006. This agency serves victims of sexual assault in colleges throughout the Chicago Metropolitan area.
For the previous nine years Ms. Sabino served as the Executive Director of Lake County Haven, in Libertyville, Illinois, an agency with fourteen staff, which provided shelter, professional services and transitional housing for homeless women and children.
